So it really is kinda like a growth. I'm okay with this.

On the other hand, if you put on a NGS outfit and bring it into PSO2 base game, your fingers will move in PSO2 base match also. Considering this, I believe they are currently just doing a copy and paste of fashion compatibility at the moment, like how you watch Ash at NGS resembles, as a stop gap, meanwhile after NGS is published for a little while, they may individually fix or upgrade certain Fashion items which might appear obsolete or seem weird that PSO2 Meseta was carried over from PSO2. Let's just hope its this. On the other hand, if you put on a NGS outfit and bring it into PSO2 base match, your fingers will proceed in PSO2 base match also. In my head it's sounding like PSO2 is"1-95" and NGS is"96-whatever", however, the levels"beyond" 95 will not work in OG PSO2. Or like if FFXIV Shadowbringers' 71-80 new abilities didn't work in articles from preceding expansions (that is how it operates now in cases unless you unsync). Although NGS appears to be including a facet of"What if ShB had a bunch of new abilities that substituted your 1-70 skills that just worked in ShB articles".

I'm happy they put this information dump out. I had expected the majority of the but was not quite sure about a few things (their wording made me wonder about outfits/clients/etc). Now if we just get a true ranged/tech hybrid... They already mentioned on the 2nd trailer that levels and things will likely be different. You are going to be back in Lv1 at NG, and not all classes will probably be there at start. I meant it in a"we won't have access to our old abilities until we return to the OG PSO2 ships" sorta way. But my explanation was bad (and I'm not positive if my new one below's any greater ).

It seems like rather the midpoint between"hard reset with decorative transfer" (like moving from Secret Planet to SWL, that was a jump fire of a procedure ) and"routine expansion" (like BfA into Shadowlands, TBC to WotLK, Stormblood into Shadowbringers, respectively ). It is not quite like FFXIV Realm Reborn (like a few people speculated when we heard about it). Because the"old" areas continue to be a part of the same game, and you can go back and buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta play with them with all the preexisting abilities/classes/etc. I'm assuming people who desire OG PSO2 cosmetics would still should earn/buy them in OG PSO2. If that's the case, we wind up at something similar to present WoW (if you squint a little ).
